Culture Ireland will be supporting emerging Irish folk and trad artists at Folk Alliance International, which takes place in New Orleans from 21 – 25 January 2026.
The artists will perform for an audience of music industry professionals from across North America and beyond.
The Folk Alliance International Conference is the world’s largest gathering of the folk music industry and community, crossing a diverse array of genres including Appalachian, Americana, Blues, Bluegrass, Celtic, Cajun, Global Roots, Hip-Hop, Old-Time, Singer-Songwriter, Spoken Word, Traditional, Zydeco, and various fusions.
Culture Ireland has been leading a delegation of Irish artists to Folk Alliance since 2015. The event attracts hundreds of programmers, agents, Festival Directors and radio stations, and has a long track record of creating opportunities for Irish artists.
The Official Showcase artists on this year’s Culture Ireland stage are:

- I Draw Slow
- Seanie Vaughan
- Sina Theil
- Zoé Basha
In addition, Culture Ireland is supporting Gráinne Hunt who is also appearing on the Official Showcase programme for this year’s event.

Each artist will perform at the Official Showcase, as well as a series of private showcases across the conference schedule.
