To celebrate Culture Ireland turning 20 this year, we have been looking back at some of the presentations, productions, events and showcases that we have supported over the years.

With Ireland Music Week and International Theatre eXchange taking place this week (29 September 2025), it’s a busy season for Culture Ireland, and we are delighted to continue bringing Irish culture to a global audience.

Since 2005, Culture Ireland has played a pivotal role in supporting Irish artists to platform their work internationally. The breadth and quality of work created in Ireland across all artforms is exceptional and deserves to be seen on the global stage. In 2024, the organisation supported 5,500 artist presentations in 50 countries to reach audiences of over 6.5m. Culture Ireland is delighted to create opportunities to showcase Irish art internationally through our Showcase and See Here programmes, and to support international touring through our Regular Grant programme. We look forward to supporting Irish artists and organisations for another 20 years and more to come!
