Culture Ireland is returning to Classical:NEXT in Berlin this week, supporting a showcase and delegation from Ireland to attend the prestigious event. Now in its twelfth year, Classical:NEXT is the global networking and exchange hub dedicated exclusively to classical and art music.

The four-day networking event includes the conference, showcase concerts, trade Expo and networking opportunities. This year, Culture Ireland is supporting Aoife Ní Bhriain and Catrin Finch’s showcase at Classical:NEXT, in partnership with Wales Arts International.  Details of the showcase on Tuesday 13 May are available here.

Culture Ireland has also awarded five delegate bursaries to industry professionals with a track record of achievement in the classical and contemporary music genre. The five delegates attending this year are:

• Jonathan Grimes
• Fergus Johnston
• Anna Murray
• Siân Cunningham

Culture Ireland will have a presence at the Classical:NEXT trade Expo taking place at the Colesseum in Berlin from 12 – 15 May 2025 (Exhibition stand 5).
