The Irish Arts Center, New York, supported by Culture Ireland to deliver an annual programme of Irish arts, continues to play a pivotal role in promoting Irish arts globally.

This Autumn the programme includes the special return engagement of Mikil Murfi’s The Man in the Woman's Shoes, a 2015 New York Times Critic's Pick and companion piece to 2018 Critic's Pick I Hear You and Rejoice.

Ben Brantley of the New York Times wrote “these pieces are part of a flourishing tradition in Irish theater of maximally populated plays performed by minimal casts”.

Other events in October at the Irish Arts Center include Muldoon’s Picnic, and solo exhibition by Bernie Leahy.
