Ireland will once again be represented at this year’s London Book Fair which opens today and runs until 14 March 2019. The Irish delegation is led by Literature Ireland with support from Culture Ireland.

During the fair, Literature Ireland will meet with up to fifty international publishers to help them initiate and grow their lists of Irish literature in translation. Representatives from Literature Ireland will also meet with international literary agents, translators and colleagues from other cultural institutions from around the world.

Key Irish exhibitors and publishers attending the Fair include Blackstaff Press & Colourpoint Books, Cló Iar-Chonnacht, International Dublin Literary Award, Literature Ireland, Mercier Press, New Island Books, O'Brien Press, Royal Irish Academy, Trinity Centre for Literary and Cultural Translation and The Wordwell Publishing Group/Books Ireland.

The London Book Fair is now in its 48th year and is one of the primary marketplaces for rights and translation negotiation for the publishing industry and attracts over 25,000 publishing professionals from across the globe.

The IRELAND at LONDON stand, supported by Culture Ireland, is located at 2A71 at the Olympia Venue in London.
