Ireland Music Week Opens in Dublin

Ireland Music Week, the showcase festival for music artists working in the rock/pop/indie genres –– returns to an inperson festival this week at venues across Dublin for the first time in three years. 50 Irish artists will showcase at the event to an audience of industry professionals as well as public audiences. The event is delivered by First Music Contact and is supported by Culture Ireland through its Music from Ireland programme.

Each artist – selected from an application field of over 500 – will showcase in a live performance at key Dublin venues. In addition, the showcases are complemented by a conference schedule in which Irish and international artists and music industry professionals discuss the current challenges for the music industry and the new reality of live performance and international touring. The event also features a special opportunity for the artists to engage directly with Spotify to enhance their profile and grow their fanbase.

Since its establishment in 2003, Ireland Music Week (formerly Hard Working Class Heroes) has been an important showcase platform to many of Ireland’s best-known acts.

The conference and performances are open to the public as well as industry. Further details are available here.
