Literature Ireland leads the delivery of the Irish presence at this year’s Frankfurt Book Fair (18 - 22 October), the largest trade fair for the publishing industry in the world, supported by Culture Ireland.
The Irish national stand will be located at Hall 6.2, A122.
The Frankfurt Book Fair is an important opportunity for the Irish publishing industry to promote their titles and negotiate deals with foreign publishers, selling and buying rights to books in English and foreign language territories and securing key distribution deals.
The Ireland stand at Frankfurt is managed and delivered by Literature Ireland, who also lead the Irish presence at London Book Fair and other international publishing events.

Literature Ireland brings the finest of Irish literature in the best possible literary translations to readers around the world. It does this by awarding translation grants to publishers, by hosting literary translators in Ireland, and by representing Irish writers at international events, book fairs and festivals. Since its foundation in 1995, Literature Ireland has supported the translation of over 2,000 works of Irish literature into 56 languages around the world.
