Four Irish artists will showcase this week at English Folk Expo 2022, marking Ireland’s partnership as focus country.
The Culture Ireland partnership offers an opportunity for four selected Irish bands to showcase for around 150 industry professionals, including agents and festival and venue programmers. In addition, each selected bands will be programmed for a public performance at the Manchester Folk Festival.
The priority for this is to gain further international touring opportunities.
The four Irish showcase artists are:
Clare Sands
Dani Larkin
Daoirí Farrell Trio
MOXIE
The showcase performances will take place at Hallé St, Peter’s in the heart of Manchester Ancoats area, which has long historical resonances with Irish emigrants.
