International Delegates Arrive As 2018 Dublin Dance Festival Opens
With support from Culture Ireland, 18 International Festival Directors and presenters will travel to Dublin over the next three weeks to see the wide range of Irish dance artists at this year’s Dublin Dance Festival. The delegates are travelling from a wide range of territories including Britain, the US, Belgium, France and Brazil.
The delegates will see Irish work from established companies including Junk Ensemble, Liz Roche Company and Oona Doherty as well as emerging artists. Through the First Looks programme at Dance House, which Culture Ireland partners with the Festival, a showcase of new works-in-development by Ireland-based dance artists including Jessie Keenan, Ruairí Donovan and Iseli-Chiodi Dance Company will be presented over two weekends..
