Culture Ireland welcomes the funding of €6.6m which has been allocated to Culture Ireland in Budget 2023 by Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, Catherine Martin.  This represents an increase of over 43% on the funding available in 2022 and will greatly enhance Culture Ireland’s ability to support the presentation of Irish arts worldwide. The increased funding is an endorsement of the important work Culture Ireland undertakes to create opportunities for and support the international careers of Irish artists.  The funding will allow Culture Ireland to  increase the international audience for Irish arts and to continue to support strategic Irish Arts centres in London, New York and Paris to showcase the richness of Irish creativity to a global audience.
