Culture Ireland supported Irish theatre makes a dramatic live return to the US this week with the opening of  Landmark Productions’ and Galway International Arts Festival's production Medicine in St. Ann’s Warehouse in New York.  This new work, written and directed by Enda Walsh, was a highlight of the Culture Ireland programme at the Edinburgh International Festival in August where it received rave reviews before its presentation in Ireland at the Galway International Arts Festival.
With an outstanding cast, including lead performance by Domhnall Gleeson, the show is set for a successful run building on St Ann’s Warehouse’s strong reputation for the presentation of Irish theatre. With live performances until 5 December, the production will reach beyond New York when it is broadcast live in the US and Canada on 21 and 28 November and 5 December.
