Culture Ireland advises all those planning to attend a Culture Ireland supported event to check with the venue beforehand as unfortunately many events globally have been cancelled.
Culture Ireland’s focus is on the promotion of Irish artists globally and our financial support is directly related to international travel to present Irish arts at venues and festivals worldwide. The COVID-19 public health crisis is particularly challenging for touring artists and venues.
The following advice should be followed by Culture Ireland grantees:
(1) ensure full compliance with Government and medical advice on dealing with COVID-19 https://www2.hse.ie/conditions/coronavirus/coronavirus.html
(2) check the Department of Foreign Affairs website for travel advice to specific regions https://www.dfa.ie/travel/travel-advice/
(3) check with international host/agent regarding status of planned event/s before advancing any travel plans
(4) contact Culture Ireland as early as possible to notify of any changes regarding events supported by Culture Ireland email grants@cultureireland.gov.ie
Culture Ireland will honour the grants awarded for events impacted by restrictions owing to COVID-19 subject to conditions and is committed in principle to supporting rescheduled events.
