Culture Ireland Edinburgh 2020
The annual Culture Ireland Edinburgh Showcase will take a new format in 2020.
The Edinburgh’s International Book Festival from 15th – 30th August will present 26 Irish writers online and 10 theatre and dance shows will be presented online at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Marketplace as part of Fringe Exchange 2020. This new online industry events programme is hosted by the Fringe Society and runs throughout the Fringe’s originally scheduled dates, 07 – 31 August 2020.
Interested parties can browse the full programme and need to be accredited with the Fringe arts industry office to access Fringe Marketplace .

Culture Ireland will host our annual networking event on 18 August, reaching international presenters and programmers with a view to generating new opportunities for Irish artists.
Irish writers featuring in the Edinburgh International Festival include well known and established writers, Anne Enright, Sebastian Barry, Marian Keyes, Colum McCann, Eimear McBride, Donal Ryan, Paul Muldoon and Colm Tóibín. Children’s writers such as Eoin Colfer, Sam McBratney and Sarah Crossan will also take part.
