Culture Ireland brings largest Irish delegation to date to Folk Alliance International

This week, Culture Ireland travels with eight Irish artists to Folk Alliance International, this year taking place in Montréal, Canada (13 – 17 February 2019). This marks the fifth year of Culture Ireland’s presence at the music industry showcase. This year, eight Irish artists/bands are supported as they participate in the Official Showcase Programme.

These artists are:
•    Colm Mac Con Iomaire
•    David Keenan
•    Inni-K
•    Lisa Canny
•    MOXIE
•    Navá
•    Saint Sister
•    The Lost Brothers

The annual February conference draws over 2,800 artists and industry (agents, managers, publishers, labels, festival/venue presenters, promoters) dedicated to folk music. Delegates who attended the 2018 conference represented 35 countries including the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales, Scandinavia, Mexico, and Japan.

The Official Showcase Performance will be attended by a large amount of industry professionals and should create further opportunities for these artists.

Culture Ireland will host a stand in the Trade Exhibition Hall (Stand 11)
