Imagining Ireland

Barbican, Silk St, London, EC2Y 8DS

Paul Noonan from Bell X1 and Lisa Hannigan, playing their only London show, lead some of Ireland’s most exciting new artists in this special show produced by Serious at the Barbican. It follows on from the incredible sellout success of 2016’s Imagining Ireland concert.

Paul Noonan of Bell X1 holds a unique territory in the Irish rock landscape – a household name, playing five nights at Vicar St in Dublin later in March 2018, but one still keenly relevant and critically lauded. He has curated this concert with Gary Sheehan from National Concert Hall Dublin

Lisa Hannigan is enjoying an increasingly successful international career. After coming to prominence with Damien Rice, her first release Sea Sew was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize and her last album At Swim was produced by Aaron Dessner of The National.

Imaging Ireland also features artists Saint Sister, Seamus Fogarty, Brian Deady, Loah, Mango Dassle, Stephen James Smith, Maria Kelly and J Colleran (formerly MMOTHS)
