In addition to Re Presenting Ireland, a showcase initiative of Culture Ireland, Dance Ireland and Dublin Dance Festival, are proud to provide a platform to launch three world premieres by Irish artists as part of this year’s Festival.

Fearghus Ó Conchúir explores the resources we draw on to recover after collapse in his new work, Cure . Aoife McAtamney collaborates with German artist Nina Vallon to create the light-hearted and wry, Egg Charade. David Bolger from CoisCéim creates Missing, a dance poem to those who have gone missing and those left behind.

Other Irish artists featuring in this year’s programme include Jean Butler who brings her newest work hurry, fresh from a critically acclaimed premiere in New York, and  Philip Connaughton, who will present Mortuus est Philippus, his poignant new solo.

Culture Ireland, in partnership with Dublin Dance Festival, will host a delegation of international dance programmers and presenters at this year’s Festival.  They will have an opportunity to see a wide range of new Irish dance work and to meet with Irish dance artists and companies over the duration of the Festival.
