Title and Deed at Number 4 in Pick of 2012 by 2 New York Critics.

Title and Deed, by Will Eno is listed at number four in the New York Times Hottest Tickets of The Year and in New Yorker Magazine's Ten Best Plays of 2012, compiled by legendary theatre critic, John Lahr.

The play was written by Will Eno especially for Irish theatre company Gare St Lazare Players Ireland and it had its World Premiere at Kilkenny Arts Festival 2011.

Performed by Conor Lovett and directed by Judy Hegarty Lovett Title and Deed was the result of Eno, a longtime fan of the company, attending a performance of The End by Samuel Beckett at the company's APAP showcase in 2011.  Eno was subsequently offered a five-year residency with The Signature Theatre Company in New York.  They attended the Kilkenny premiere and then committed to a New York run.  The sell out six-week run took place in May/June and was supported by Culture Ireland.  President Michael D. Higgins and his wife attended a rehearsal of the show during their visit to New York on May 1st 2012.
